Ptychopoda was again proposed by Stephens, 1829 [June], Nom. Br. Insects: 45; 1829 [July], Syst. Cat. Br. Insects (2): 150; and 1831, Illust. Br. Ent. (Haustellata) 3: 305. See: THALERA Hübner, [1823] 1816. Parsons et al. (1999) included HETEROTHALERA Bryk, 1949; and PTYCHOPODA Stephens, 1827 as junior synonyms of THALERA Hübner, 1823. |
