Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- By some strange inadvertence Distant republished the name Purlisa as the name of a new genus ("gen. nov.") in 1885 (Rhop. malayana : 234, 249), this being all the more strange in that he clearly indicated that he was aware both that he had himself published it in 1881 and also that it had subsequently been used by Waterhouse in 1882 (Aid Ident. Ins. 1 : pl. 46). The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
