Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- Quadrina has been included by a few authors in the Cossidae, where it was first placed by Smith, 1882, Ent. Am. 2: 124; it was retained there by Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 860; and by Dalla Torre, 1923, in Strand, Lepid. Cat. 29: 3; it is currently included in the Lasiocampidae, where it was placed by Barnes & McDunnough, 1911, Contr. nat. Hist. Lepid. N. Am. 1 (2): 11.
