| Memo: | Nye (1975) included RAPHIA in the subfamily NOCTUIDAE : OPHIDERINAE. Poole (1989) included RAPHIA in the subfamily PANTHEINAE, treated as a family by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999), although the later included RAPHIA in the subfamily NOCTUIDAE: RAPHIINAE. Poole (1989) included RHAPHIA Agassiz, 1847; ANODONTA Rambur, 1858 (preoccupied); CERTILA Walker, 1865; and SALIGENA Walker, 1865 as junior synonyms of RAPHIA Hübner, 1821. Poole (1989) included 12 species in the genus RAPHIA. |
