Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Proposed, unnecessarily, as an objective replacement name for Cleophana Boisduval, 1832, which Sodoffsky considered to be inappropriate. See: CLEOPHANA Boisduval, Rambur & Graslin, & Graslin, 1832. Poole (1989) included CLEOPHANA Boisduval, Rambur & Graslin, 1832; RHABDOPHANA Sodoffsky, 1837; and CALLIPHASIA Agassiz, 1847 as junior synonyms of CALOPHASIA Stephens, 1829.
