(1999) included DELOCHARIS Butler, 1883; LEPTOSIDIA Hampson, 1903; and PELLONIA Duponchel, 1829 as junior synonyms of RHODOSTROPHIA Hübner, 1823. Parsons et al. (1999) included 69 species and 46 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus RHODOSTROPHIA.
