| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Geometridae but has since been transferred to the Notodontidae; it was first included in this family by Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 585. Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- S. rosea is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena aurora Smith, 1797, in Smith & Abbot, Nat. Hist. rare lepid. Insects Georgia 2: 173, pl.87. Sangata was established in the Geometridae; it was placed in the Notodontidae by Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 585.
