Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- Like the two immediately preceding names, the name Argus Gerhard is invalid as a junior homonym of Argus Bohadsch, 1761. Argus Gerhard, 1850, is a preoccupied name, replaced by Armenia Dubatolov & Korshunov, 1984, Novye I Maloizvestnye Vidy Fauny Sibiri (17) : 53. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
