Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Druce, 1894 (loc.cit.) considered that Walker had misidentified Zygaena styx Fabricius, 1779, Syst. Ent.: 556. Druce therefore established a new nominal species Scena propylea for this taxon. Scena is a nominal genus having a misidentified type-species. Under the Code, Article 70(a), such cases should be referred to the Commission. Scena was established as a subgenus of Euchromia Hübner, [1819] in the Zygaenides, now Zygaenidae; it was placed in the Syntomidae, now Ctenuchidae, by Hampson, 1898, Cat. Lepid. Phalaenae Br. Mus.1: 281.
