Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Scepsis was established as a subgenus of Ctenucha Kirby, 1837. A junior homonym of Scepsis Walker, 1850, in Saunders, Insecta Saundersiana 1: 71 - Insecta, Diptera. The objective replacement name is Cisseps Franclemont, 1936.
