Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Available, but without included species until Felder & Rogenhofer, 1874. S. longipalpis is a junior subjective synonym of Bleptina menippusalis Walker, [1859] 1858, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 16: 126. Poole (1989) included SCOPIFERA in the subfamily HERMINIINAE. Poole (1989) included 11 species in the genus SCOPIFERA.
