Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- The name Sephisa was introduced by Moore as a replacement of Castalia Westwood, [1850], which is invalid under the Law of Homonymy. Cowan (1970: 55) stated:- SEPHISA Moore, [June 1882]. By an equally remarkable oversight to that involving Vadebra, Moore published this name almost simultaneously for two different genera; the present one, and a Moth genus in [Dec. 1882], Lep. Ceylon 2 (6) : 41. Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- A junior homonym of Sephisa Moore, 1882 [June], Proc. zool. Soc. Lond. 1882: 240, - Lepid., Nymphalidae. The objective replacement name is Devanica Moore, 1884. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
