Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Geometridae, but has since been transferred to the Thyrididae, where it was placed by Pagenstecher, 1892, Dt. ent. Z. Iris 5: 86. Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Sericophara was established in the Geometridae; it was placed in the Thyrididae by Pagenstecher, 1892, Dt. ent. Z. Iris 5: 86.
