Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Kiriakoff, 1952, ibidem 88: 40 cited Callarctia ellioti Butler, 1895, Proc. zool. Soc. Lond. 1895: 739, pl.43, fig.6, as type-species, but this was a misiddentification of a then undescribed taxon as shown by Toulgoët, 1976, ibidem 6: 296, who established it as Seydelia turlini celsicola. This is a case of a misidentified type-species. Under the Code, Article 70(a), such cases should be referred to the Commission. S. celsicola was established as and is currently placed as a subspecies of Seydelia turlini Toulgoët, 1976, ibidem 6: 294, fig.4.
