Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- N. evidens Hübner, is a junior primary homonym of Noctua evidens Thunberg, 1784, Diss. Ent. sistens Insecta Suecica (1): 2, pl. [1], fig. [2], which is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena trigrammica Hufnagel, 1766, - Noctuidae, Acronictinae. There is no synonym to use as a replacement name so I here propose Sideridis anapheles nom. n. [Nye, 1975] for N. evidens Hübner. Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Further information in Nye, 1975, ibidem 1: 449, 450. Heliophobus Boisduval, 1828, was downgraded to denote a subgenus of Sideridis Hübner, [1821] 1816 by Varga and Ronkay, 1991, Zoologica Hungarica 37 (1-2) : 150. Poole (1989) included 21 species in the genus SIDERIDIS.
