Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- S. ephippiata is a junior subjective synonym of Antheua simplex Walker, 1855, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 3: 687. S. ephippiata was again described as a new species by Wallengren, 1860, Wien. ent. Monatschr. 4: 164. See also: Antheua Walker, 1855.
