Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- P. vuteria is dated from the wrapper of the part and not from the title-page of the volume, 1791. Poole (1989) included SPEIA in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (loc. cit.). Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus SPEIA.
