P. feducia is a junior subjective synonym of Noctua itynx Fabricius, 1787, Mantissa Insect. 2: 136. Poole (1989) included SPEIREDONIA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included SERICIA Guenée, 1852 as a junior synonym of SPEIREDONIA Hübner, 1823. Poole (1989) included 11 species in the genus SPEIREDONIA. | |
