| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- Not nomenclaturally available from 1818 as a genus-group name. Hübner used Sphecodes on page 27 in a suprageneric sense for one of the names of his tribes (Namen der Stämme) listed on pages [33], [34]. Hübner listed his genus-group names on pages [35], [36]. See: CABERA Treitschke, 1825 [October 18]. |
