Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Not a junior homonym of * Stenia Kirby, 1837, in Richardson, Fauna boreal. -am. 4: 133 - Insecta, Coleoptera, which was published as a junior synonym of Dichelonycha (Harris MS) Kirby, 1833, and has not been treated subsequently as an available name under the Code, Article 11(d). Shaffer (pers. comm.) treats STENIA in the CRAMBIDAE: SPILOMELINAE.
