| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) included ARISTOTELIA in the family GELECHIIDAE. Hodges, in Kristensen (1999) included ARISTOTELIA in the subfamily GELECHIINAE. Aristotelia Hübner, 1825 was referred to the Gelechiinae from Aristoteliinae (within the Gelechiidae) by Kuznetzov & Stekolnikov, 1984, Trudy Zoologicheskogo Instituta Akademii Nauk SSSR 122 : 61. Aristotelia was treated in the Gelechiidae in Nye and Fletcher, 1991 Generic Names Moths World, 6 : 32. |
