| Memo: | Hemming (1967) stated:- The taxon represented by the nominal species Euploea gloriosa Butler was treated by Bryk in 1937 (in Bryk's Lep. Cat. 78 : 308) as a subspecies of the taxon represented by the older-established nominal species Danais dufresnei [correction of dufresne] Godart, [1824] (Ency. méth. 9 (Ins.) (2) : 815). The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008). |
