Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- The name Stygnus Felder & Felder is invalid, as it is a junior homonym of Stygnus Perty, 1833 (Del. Anim. artic. Brasil (3) : 206). It has been replaced by the name Stygnolepis Strand, 1942. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
