| Memo: | Nye (1975) stated:- See also: Phaeomorpha Turner, 1920. Poole (1989) included SYNTHETA in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (loc. cit.). Poole (1989) included PHAEOMORPHA Turner, 1920; and PHAEOPYRA Hampson, 1908 as junior synonyms of SYNTHETA Turenr, 1902. Poole (1989) included 3 species in the genus SYNTHETA. |
