| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Drepanidae, but has since been placed in the Eupterotidae by Hampson, [1893] 1892, Fauna Br. India (Moths) 1: 46. Fletcher & Nye (1982, Generic Names of Moths of the World) stated:- Tagora was established in the Drepanulidae, now Drepanidae; it was placed in the Lasiocampidae by Butler, 1881, Illust. typical Specimens Lepid. Heterocera Colln Br. Mus. 5: xii, 70; and in the Eupterotidae by Swinhoe, 1892, Cat. east. and Aust. Lepid. Heterocera Colln Oxf. Univ. Mus. 1: 279. |
