Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- L. microstigma was described and made nomenclaturally available by Hampson, 1903 [October], prior to its proposal and description by Schaus, 1903 December, Jl N. Y. ent. Soc. 11: 230. The bibliographic reference of the type-species as cited by Köhler, 1954, is entirely incorrect, but has been corrected in Köhler, 1967, Acta zool. lilloana 21: 312. Poole (1989) included PYRGEIA Köhler, 1959 as a junior synonym of TANDILIA Köhler, 1954. Poole (1989) included 19 species in the genus TANDILIA.
