| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) included TETANOCENTRIA in the family AGONOXENIDAE, treated by Hodges, in Kristensen (1999) as a subfamily of ELACHISTIDAE. Tetanocentria Rebel, 1902 was referred to the new subfamily Blastodacninae within the Momphidae, by Sinev, 1979, Entomologisceskoe Obozrenie 58 (3) : 590. Tetanocentria was treated in the Agonoxenidae in Nye and Fletcher, 1991, 6 : 300. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Tetanocentria was included in the "Cosmopterygidae", by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric. India (Ent.) 11: 218; it was transferred to the Agonoxenidae Blastodacninae by Hodges, 1978, in Dominick et al., Moths Am. N. of Mexico 6 (1): 9. |
