| Memo: | Nye (1975) stated:- P. texta is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena matura Hufnagel, 1766, Berlin. Mag. 3 (4): 414. Poole (1989) included THALPOPHILA in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE, subsequently restricted to the genus AMPHIPYRA by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Other genera formerly treated in the subfamily AMPHIPYRINAE are treated as HADENINAE by Kitching & Rawlins (loc. cit.). Poole (1989) included CERIGO Stephens, 1829 as a junior synonym of THALPOPHILA Hübner, 1820. Poole (1989) included 2 species in the genus THALPOPHILA. |
