Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- The name Threnodes Hewitson is invalid, as it is a junior homonym of Threnodes Duponchel, 1845 (Cat. Méth. Lépid. Europ. (2) : 196) and also of Threnodes Guenée, 1854 (Roret's Suite à Buffon), Hist. nat. Ins. 8 (Delt. & Pyr.) : 184. It has been replaced by the name Nahida Kirby, 1871. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
