| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) included TICHONIA in the subfamily OECOPHORIDAE: DEPRESSARIINAE, treated by Hodges, in Kristensen (1999) as a subfamily of ELACHISTIDAE. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- The type-species was included in Tichonia as "Atomella Hübn. Tin. [fig.] 240" but Hübner, 1822, Syst.-alphab. Verz.: 67, had attributed the authorship to Schiffermüller. |
