| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- On the plate, figure 7 was incorrectly labelled Tineodes * Alucitalis an incorrect (of a multiple) original spelling, corrected by Gueneé, in the legend to the plate, Explication des Planches: 6. Tineodes was established in the Steniadae, now included in the Pyralidae Pyraustinae; it became the type-genus of the family Tineodidae, established by Meyrick, 1885 Trans. ent. Soc. Lond. 1885: 422. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- On the plate, figure 7 was incorrectly labelled as Tineodes * Alucitalis, an incorrect (of a multiple) original spelling, corrected by Guenée, in the legend to the plate, Explication des Planches: 6. TINEODES was included within the family TINEODIDAE by Dugdale et al., in Kristensen (1999). |
