Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- An incorrect subsequent spelling of Trichosoma Rambur, 1832. Neave attributed this misspelling to Lucas, 1849, Explor. scient. Algérie (Zool.) 3: 376, but no error had been made by Lucas.
