Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- (Type(s) not found by Zimsen, 1964, Type Material of I. C. Fabricius: 532). A junior homonym of Aspila Stephens, 1834, Illust. Br. Ent. Haustellata 4: 104, -Lepid., Olethreutidae. There is no objective replacement name but N. virescens is the senior synonym of Phalaena rhexiae Smith, 1797, the type-species of Chloridea [Duncan & Westwood], 1842. The latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name. See: CHLORIDEA Duncan [& Westwood], 1841. Poole (1989) included HELIOTHISA Meigen, 1832; HELIOTIS Sodoffsky, 1837; CHLORIDEA Duncan & Westwood, 1841; ASPILA Guenée, 1852 (preoccupied); HELIOCHEILUS Grote, 1865; RHODOSEA Grote, 1883; and DYSOCNEMIS Grote, 1890 as junior synonyms of HELIOTHIS Ochsenheimer, 1816.
