Memo: Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- Trisula was established in the Bombyces; it was placed in the Liparidae, now Lymantriidae, by Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 458; and was placed in the Noctuidae by Hampson, 1894, Fauna Br. India (Moths) 2: 437. Poole (1989) included TRISULA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included 2 species in the genus TRISULA.
