Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- N. paula is a junior subjective synonym of Pyralis noctualis Hübner, 1796, ibidem 6: pl. 6, fig. 38. Trothisa Hübner [1821] 1816, was treated as a valid genus, revalidated by Beck, 1996, Neue Entomologische Nachrichten 36 : 38. Poole (1989: 383) included ANTHOPHILA Ochsenheimer, 1816; PORPHYRINIA Hübner, 1821; EROMENE Hübner, 1821; TROTHISA Hübner, 1821; ECTHETIS übner, 1823; ODICE Hübner, 1823; HELIOMANES Sodoffsky, 1837; MICROPHISA Boisduval, 1840; MICRA Guenée, 1841; MICROPHYSA Guenée, 1841; GLAPHYRA Guenée, 1841; THALPOCHARES Lederer, 1853; MIXOCHARIS Lederer, 1853; MESTLETA Walker, 1865; EUMESTLETA Butler, 1892; THALOMICRA Spuler, 1907; POLYORYCTA Warren, 1911; GYOPHORA Warren, 1913; EUMICREMMA Berio, 1954; and RHYPAGLA Nye, 1975 as junior synonyms of EUBLEMMA Hübner, 1821. Poole (1989: 143) included MESTLETA Walker, 1865; and MATAEOMERA Butler, 1886 (as METAEOMERA Butler, 1886) as junior synonyms of AUTOBA Walker, 1863.
