Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Although Unca was attributed to Oken by Lhomme, this was the next published usage after * Unca Oken, 1815, and so became nomenclaturally available. On page 115 of his catalogue Lhomme stated that he was following Hampson's classification, but Hampson, 1913, Cat. Lepid. Phalaenae Br. Mus. 13: 582 used Abrostola Ochsenheimer for triplasia. However, in his personal interleaved copy Hampson had changed this to 'Unka Oken'. It is probably that Lhomme was directly, or indirectly through Joannis, in communication with Hampson, and was informed of the unpublished change. Unca Lhomme is a junior objective synonym of Abrostola Ochsenheimer, 1816. See: ABROSTOLA Ochsenheimer, 1816. Poole (1989) included HABROSTOLA Sodoffsky, 1837; INGURIDIA Butler, 19879; and UNCA Lhomme, 1929 as junior synonyms of ABROSTOLA Ochsenheimer, 1816.
