I am following Hemming, 1937, Hübner 2: 159 in giving priority to the Index. Lepid. usage. Incorrect type-species designation: Phalaena genistae Villers, 1789, (a name not originally included in the Index although it was included in the Verzeichniss) when cited by Moore, 1884, Lepid.
