Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- Xantholepidote was proposed as the objective replacement name for Liodes Guenée, 1857. Parsons et al. (1999) included AMELORA Meyrick, 1892; LIODES Guenée, 1857; STINOPTILA Turner, 1947; and XANTHOLEPIDOTE Gumppenberg, 1887 as junior synonyms of AMELORA Guest, 1887.
