| Memo: | Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:- A junior objective synonym of Hyda Walker, 1854. Xanthyda was established, unnecessarily, for the concept Hyda Walker, 1854, because an incorrect type-species was accepted and cited by Hampson, 1920. Xanthyda was linked by Hampson with its single included species by the entry `p.178', which referred Hampson, 1898, Cat. Lepid. Phalaenae Br. Mus. 1: 178. |
