| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- A junior homonym of Xenoneura Scudder, 1867, in Dawson, Geol. Mag. 4: 387 - Neuroptera (Fossil). There is no objective replacement name, but X. tephrinata is believed to be congeneric with Azata palliata Hampson, 1891, the type-species of Oxymacaria Warren, 1894. The latter is thus available as a subjective replacement name. See: OXYMACARIA Warren, 1894. Parsons et al.
