| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- S. anubus is dated from the wrapper of part 11, not from the title-page of volume 2 which is dated 1779. XYLOPHANES was included within the subfamily SPHINGIDAE: MACROGLOSSINAE by Lemaire & Minet, in Kristensen (1999). Kitching & Cadiou (2000) list DEILONCHE Grote, 1886; DILONCHE Kirby, 1897 and ISOPLES Hübner, 1819 as junior synonyms of XYLOPHANES Hübner, 1819. |
