Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- Doherty gave a short diagnosis of this genus in the footnote to page 410, but cited no included species. On page 425 he placed Loxura tripunctata Hewitson in this genus and, as he cited no other species, that species is the type-species by monotypy. Cowan (1968: 15) stated:- YASODA Doherty, line 2: "Lexura" should read; Loxura. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
