Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Z. acidaliaria is a junior subjective synonym of Carmara subcervina Walker, [1863]. See also Carmara Walker, [1863]; and Gyrognatha Hampson, 1893. Fletcher (1979) stated:- This genus was originally proposed in the Geometridae, but has since been transferred to the Noctuidae, where it was placed by Hampson, 1894, Fauna Br. India (Moths) 2: 344. Poole (1989) included ZAGIRA Walker, 1866; and GYROGNATHA Hampson, 1893 as junior synonyms of CARMARA Walker, 1863.
