Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- Boisduval attributed this name to Rambur, from whom - as he explained in a footnote - he had received a communication while the Spec. gén. was passing through the press. At the time of the publication of that work, Zegris was still an unpublished name and it must therefore be attributed to Boisduval. As explained above, Rambur was anticipated in publishing this name by Boisduval, to whom he had communicated it in manuscript. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
