Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Agassiz did not included any species, but referred Zenobia to Oken, 1815, therefore the type-species must be selected from one of the three species, originally included by Oken. A junior homonym of Zenobia Gray, 1821, Lond. Medical Repository 15: 239, -Mollusca. There is no objective replacement name but P. retusa is congeneric with Noctua subtusa [Denis & Schiffermuller], 1775, the type-species of Ipimortha Hübner, [1821]. The latter is therefore available for use as a subjective replacement name. Retusia Beck, 1996, Neue Entomologische Nachrichten 36 : 58, was established as a subgenus of Ipimorpha Hübner, [1821] 1816 and the objective replacement name for the Zenobia Agassiz 1846. See: IPIMORPHA Hübner, [1821] 1816. Poole (1989) included PLASTENIS Boisduval, 1840; and ZENOBIA Agassiz, 1846 (preoccupied) as junior synonyms of IPIMORPHA Hübner, 1821.
