Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Hampson cited as type-species Pyralis perspectalis Hübner, 1796, a nominal species not originally included in Zinckenia. At the same time, however he placed perspectalis as a senior synonym of primordialis, a nominal species originally included in Zinckenia. Under the Code, Article 69(a)(iv), this designation constitutes the fixation of the originally included name as the type-species. Lepidoptera Microptera was first published as a separate in 1852. It was again published, with identical pagination, in 1854, K. svenska VetenskAkad. Handl. 1852: 1-120.
