| Memo: | Hemming (1967) stated:- An Unjustified Emendation of Zipaetis Hewitson, [1863]. Cowan (1970: 57) stated:- "Ziboetes to read - Zipoetes". In introducing the emendation Zipoetes, Wood-Mason remarked in a footnote that either the spelling Ziboetes or the spelling Zipaetes would have been correct, but not the spelling Zipaetis. Cowan (1970: 39) stated:- ZIPOETES Wood-Mason, 1881. An Unjustified Emendation, as shown by Hemming, 1967 : 467. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008). |
