| Memo: | Atuntsea was not included in Generic Names Moths World 1. Poole (1989) included ATUNTSEA in his Noctuidae catalogue, but did not assign it to a subfamily. It is placed in the subfamily SARROTHRIPINAE in the BMNH collection. The SARROTHRIPINAE are included as a tribe within the NOLIDAE: CHLOEPHORINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999) Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus ATUNTSEA. |
