Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- B. muscosa is a junior subjective homonym of Hadena subviridescens Walker, 1858, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 15: 1724. Poole (1989) included BARCITA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included PHIALTA Schaus, 1901 as a junior synonym of BARCITA Möschler, 1886. Poole (1989) included 3 species in the genus BARCITA.
