| Memo: | Nye (1975) stated:- B. polychroma is a junior subjective synonym of Felinia terminigara Walker, 1858. See also: Pitacola Moore, 1884. Poole (1989) included BEANA in the subfamily NOCTUIDAE: SARROTHRIPINAE, which are included as a tribe within the NOLIDAE: CHLOEPHORINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included PITACOTA Moore, 1884 as a junior synonym of BEANA Walker, 1862. Poole (1989) included 6 species in the genus BEA |
